Finding My Voice & Sharing It With The World

In September of 2022 I attended the Funnel Hacking Live (FHL) conference in Orlando.  It changed my life.  The words and wisdom of Ed Mylett, Garret J. White, Brooke Castillo and Marie Forleo hit me so hard, tears ran down my face.  I knew then and there, I was meant for more. That I wasn’t given the dreams I have, without the ability to achieve them.

It suddenly became clear that becoming nothing short of a legendary public speaker would satisfy me.  A goal and vision I never had and the intention of which is not notoriety. My only thought was that if I could bring a fraction of what I felt to the hearts and minds of my NYU peers and alumni, what a gift that would be.

From the moment I firmly made that decision opportunities started presenting themselves.  And I am so proud to say that in a matter of just 4 months, I was a featured speaker at 8 different events across NYU and Pace University.

As part of my annual reflection I usually just journal.  But this year I organized this deck to share with you what some of those speaking opportunities looked like and the impact they had on me.  Listen, if I can do it… whatever it is you want to do… you can as well.

Also wrapped into this video is a recap of the events we executed as the NYU Tisch Center Alumni Society - Executive Board.  As President, I am very proud to share these accomplishments because they were not mine alone, but the result of an entire team of people.

Just today I heard from seemingly the most random person… that they appreciated my newsletter!! I freaked out! I told them that was the best gift Santa could have brought me.  Whether we know each other or are yet to meet, your engagement on LinkedIn, support of Six Figure Success, and encouragement for me to pursue this mission, means everything to me.

It’s the oxygen that lets me breathe.  It’s the light I need when things feel so distant and dark. Such is the journey of bootstrapping a business.  It may sound dramatic, and hell, it is! That’s what being so sincerely passionate about something feels like. One dramatic episode after another, haha.

In closing I wish to say that I never could have expected the latter half of 2023 to be so awesome, and I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who played a part in making that possible.
